Vincent Tran, COO and Co-Founder of Liongard, has earned recognition as part of the inaugural Longhorn 100 list, which acknowledges the entrepreneurial achievements of companies with ties to the University of Texas at Austin. Tran, who earned his Bachelor of Science from UT Austin, co-founded Liongard with Joe Alapat in 2015. Since then, Liongard has intentionally and consistently grown to become a trusted partner for roughly 2,000 Managed Service Providers (MSPs), delivering an operational advantage and exceptional customer experience through its indispensable SaaS platform that automates the discovery, documentation, and auditing of IT systems.
The Liongard team of passionate MSP industry experts remains steadfast in its commitment to continuously improving products and relationships with partners. This commitment has led to Liongard’s Deep Data Platform™, which unlocks the intelligence hidden across the technology stack, giving MSPs an operational advantage and allowing them to run in a known state. Tran received his recognition during a ceremony held on May 18 at UT Austin’s Etter-Harbin Alumni Center.
To be eligible for the Longhorn 100, companies must be founded, owned, or led by a graduate or group of graduates from the University of Texas at Austin. The Ex-Students Association of UT Austin sponsors the Longhorn 100, which acknowledges, honors, and commemorates the achievements of the 100 fastest-growing Longhorn-led businesses worldwide. The ranking of companies is determined by the percentage of compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) in sales or revenue (net of returns) from 2019 to 2021, with financial information processed by the independent accounting firm, Whitley Penn.
